With 30 years of experience in the industry, owner and head chef, Jason Aitken, has called Preserve Kitchen his home for 7 years. His passion for creating beautiful Australian and European cuisine is evidenced in his carefully crafted combination of the freshest produce and mouthwatering flavours.

  • My friends and I ate here for lunch and totally enjoyed every mouthful. Food was fresh, generous in proportion and cooked to perfection. The one dish we were excited about ordering was sold out before we ordered, which was disappointing, however the alternative was excellent. The lovely waitress was serving all tables and did not miss a beat. Whether taking your order, delivering food to the next table or making coffee for another, she worked the room efficiently and with a smile on her face. Book ahead for a terrific local meal.

  • Utterly delicious Went for a dinner with friends I hadn't seen in ages, and it was just perfect. Food was exquisite (maybe a little pricier than people may be used to) but it was worth it.

  • Downstairs is more modern than the homely atmosphere of upstairs. Lovely meal had with friends and the service was sublime. You can bring your own wine with corkage of $7 per person. I would recommend this restaurant for any adult type of special event.

  • I have heard glowing reports for years and finally make it for lunch. We chose from the limited albeit interesting lunch menu. My two courses, calamari followed by duck were excellent, well cooked, presented and balanced. Recommend.

  • We have been here numerous times and the food is consistently good. Being a vegetarian I recommend the barramundi. Cooked to perfection and with crispy skin . Husband always orders the duck, as it’s his favourite! We often get the mussels and get extra chilli. Discard the shells and enjoy with the delicious sauce ! My favourite restaurant by far!! Thanks Jason and the team at Preserve!

  • Fantastic food What a great little place. Only has about 8 tables but o my word it is good. Great menu and good service. White table cloths and napkins. I had confit of duck and it was superb. Lovely flavour and cooked perfectly. Had semi-fredo for dessert. It is byo. Check it out. Book your table. Quite full.

  • A terrific find. This small restaurant is sparkling clean, light and airy with a great vibe. We chose from the two course lunch menu, and everything was delicious, cooked with care and looked wonderful. Recommend.

  • This was a very nice suburban restaurant, the owner and staff were friendly and attentive without intruding. Lovely food and good wine selection - proved there are real gems in the suburbs.
